Territorial Cottage

| Square Footage and Building Cost | 1200 sq. ft. four square home 500 sq. ft. deck This is an economical home to build because of the 12/12 pitch & shed dormer roofs allows for plenty of loft space without cost of a full height second story walls. A great getaway as is, but with a little expansion this home could provide an home office/guess bed room. Designed with finished concrete floors, in-floor radiant heating system. Woodstove in the living room corner can easily heat the whole house or used as supplemental heat during spring and or fall. Skylights or translucent panels could be installed
on the south facing porch for more passive solar gain, but you will need to
shade in hot summer climates. Yes the porch allows winter sun light into the
home.
